Q: Are glass components fragile?

A: Not at all. Each glass piece undergoes annealing—a specialized heat-treatment process that transforms delicate glass into durable, crack-resistant components. After being shaped in the torch, pieces spend at least twelve hours in a high-temperature kiln, then cool gradually to room temperature. The result is glass that's surprisingly tough and built to last.
